Five-time champion Brazil booked its spot in the knockout stage of the men's FIFA World Cup with a late goal against Switzerland in Group G.

Brazilian striker Neymar was injured in the first game and missed the match.

The South Americans controlled the game from the outset but failed to capitalize on their chances without their main playmaker.

But Brazil's Casemiro finally broke through in the 83rd minute with a one-timer into the far corner. Brazil won 1-0.

In other matches, Cameroon staged a dramatic comeback for a 3-3 draw with Serbia.

Cameroon was down 1-3 but the Indomitable Lions came roaring back with two goals in just four minutes in the second half.

After second match, Brazil is at the top with six points. Switzerland follows with three points, Cameroon and Serbia have one point. The three teams still have a chance to advance to the next stage.
